At the landmark corner of Houston and West Broadway, The Corner Store reimagines the all-American restaurant for SoHo — nostalgic and knowing, polished but never precious. From the team behind Catch, it arrived as one of New York’s most coveted reservations and hasn’t cooled since.
The menu trades in comfort done beautifully: spinach and artichoke dip, a Caesar with crispy cream-cheese croquettes and everything-bagel croutons, lobster and caviar rolls, and the signature Wagyu French dip with au jus poured tableside. Behind it sits a serious butcher’s counter of dry-aged steaks and a raw bar, rounded off with playful desserts like the Samoa sundae and apple hand pies.
But the real theatre is the bar. The cocktail programme is run like a scratch kitchen — everything made in-house, citrus juiced daily — with the Martini at its heart. Expect an umami-forward Tomato Martini, a dill-laced Sour Cream & Onion, and a tableside martini service poured perfectly chilled from 0°F freezers.
