NoHo’s discreet members’ playground

Zero Bond is the defining private members club of contemporary New York — a 20,000-square-foot space across the top two floors of a Bond Street townhouse in NoHo, designed by William Sofield and anchored by a roughly $10 million art collection that includes works by Warhol and Keith Haring. Founded by Scott Sartiano, who modelled it on the great London social clubs, Zero Bond has become the gathering place for New York’s creative, media, and business elite who value privacy as much as quality.

The membership structure reflects these priorities: entry requires a letter of recommendation, and membership cannot be purchased — it is extended by invitation. Multiple bars, restaurants, conference rooms, and private event spaces give the club a functionality beyond mere social prestige. The combination of exceptional design, serious art, and genuine selectivity has made Zero Bond the benchmark against which other New York members clubs are measured.”
