Amo is a contemporary expression of Venetian hospitality, blending refined Italian cuisine, expertly crafted coffee, and a vibrant social atmosphere. Located at the base of the Rialto Bridge within the atrium of T Fondaco dei Tedeschi, this stylish restaurant and café is the result of a collaboration between the Alajmo brothers and designer Philippe Starck. The space, defined by elegant marble, a striking cocktail bar, and handcrafted Venetian glasswork by Aristide Najean, seamlessly merges tradition with modernity.
The menu showcases the finest seasonal ingredients, offering a selection of handmade pasta, fresh seafood, and creative reimaginings of Italian classics. Dishes are carefully curated to celebrate the simplicity and vibrancy of Italian flavours, complemented by an extensive wine list and expertly mixed cocktails.
Beyond its restaurant, Amo Café is a destination in itself for coffee lovers. Serving a custom 100% Arabica blend, roasted exclusively for the Alajmo Group by Laboratorio di Torrefazione Giamaica Caffè in Verona, it offers an authentic Italian coffee experience. Mornings feature freshly baked breakfast sweets, including extra virgin olive oil-based chocolate hazelnut muffins, while afternoons bring a display of small cakes, macarons, mini pizzas, and Venetian cicchetti at the long glass counter.
